Equipment steam cleaning and de-icing in Edmonton and area

Wet and dry steam for the jobs water alone won’t handle: frozen buildup, ice-packed undercarriages and grease that needs heat to let go. Snow or shine, from skid steers to haul trucks.

Steam cleaning and de-icing

When steam beats water

Steam carries far more heat than hot water. It thaws ice and frozen mud, and it softens grease and oily residue so it lifts away.

It also uses much less water. That means less runoff, and less water left behind to refreeze on a cold day.

Wet steam and dry steam

Wet steam carries more moisture, so it rinses as it heats. It suits heavy buildup that needs to be flushed away.

Dry steam runs hotter with very little moisture. It suits thawing, de-icing, and parts you’d rather not soak. We carry both and use whichever the job calls for.

De-icing and thawing

Alberta winters freeze tracks, undercarriages, buckets and truck decks solid. Steam thaws them so equipment can move and work again, without waiting for a warm spell.

For urgent jobs, same-day service is available. Call and tell us what’s frozen and where it is.

Common questions

Can you thaw frozen equipment on site?

Yes. Our steam units are mobile, so we thaw equipment where it’s stuck. Same-day service is available for urgent requests.

Do I need steam or pressure washing?

Pressure washing handles most dirt and mud. Steam is better for ice, frozen buildup and heavy grease. Tell us about the job and we’ll recommend one.

Is steam only useful in winter?

No. Steam cuts grease and oily residue year round. Winter is just when people need the de-icing most.
