Oilfield equipment cleaning

Rigs and production equipment

Oilfield equipment picks up a mix of mud, oil and ice that a cold rinse won’t shift. Steam brings the heat to break it down and lift it off.

We clean rigs, de-ice equipment through the winter, and help maintain production equipment so it stays in working order.

Why steam for oilfield work

Oil-based residue needs heat. Steam softens it so it comes away, instead of spreading it around the way cold water does.

Dry steam also thaws frozen equipment with very little water, which matters when anything left behind will freeze again by morning.

Clean equipment between sites

Equipment that moves between leases, or onto farmland, often has to arrive clean. In Alberta that’s partly about limiting the spread of soil-borne problems like clubroot.

We can clean equipment on site before it moves, so it arrives ready to work.
